healing problems

healing problems

hi

i've just started a new game after long time without playing. my character is a true neutral cleric. When the party rests he doesn't heal other characters nor himself. That's because the alignment? please help!!!!

I don't think BG1 has the option of healing upon rest. :confused:
If it does check Gameplay under the in-game options.

Right. As Ravager said, I don't believe that BG1 has the option to either "cast heal spells upon rest" or "heal until rest." If memory serves, you'll have to manually cast these spells. You probably can gain those features through using BGTutu, as it will operate BG with the BG2 engine. But its a fairly massive mod, which is fairly complex to install, and is not worth downloading for that reason alone.

It does heal a bit.. although annoyingly little. Cast the spells yourself before you rest... and save the game. I've learnt this the hard way.
