Need help with door at Xiao"s

Post by Pekka »

Cant open the double door at Xiao temple lvl2 in front of the waterwheel. I run behind the handle and try to move the bar using "w" movement key towards the right (if facing the door), but it just shakes and doesnt budge. Ive tried other directions and keys as well (no result). Am doing smth wrong or is it a bug? Plz help, thanks in advance.

*sigh*
There's quite some threads about this already. Next time try using search before asking, 'kay ;)
But in short: save when you're at the door, then reload. Most often that solves the problem. Otherwise you might have close down and restart, or even reinstall.
I've been 5 times at that point now and reload always did the trick for me.

The bugs seem pretty relative, actually. Some people experience them and others don't.

Make sure to have the official patch installed, it takes care of some things. Likewise, the unofficial patch (read about it, to make sure you want all the features) fixes quite a few bugs that some people are experiencing.

I had problems with it as well but got through by going to the far left and pushing the bit there first. That freed up the main handle for me.
