Char Lvl vs. Item quality.

A quickie question: Does a character level affect the quality of items that "bounces" off from chests ? Or, is it just the Chest level...
I´ve been wondering around the countryside allaround with my level 12 Trickster/Marauder and just found Lake Dread chest (Lev 7), but alas, cant seem to get anythig useful out of it

I would have to say that yes, item quality does appear to improve with more pwoerful characters, as well as the level of the chest. A high level character opening a high level chest is going to get better items, at least from what I ahve personally experienced.

Do you think lev 12 is too low for goin to Naga pit, or should i get more experienced first. Conserning treasure hunt.

I don't think it matters what level you are. The chest seem pretty set. A good example is the chest in the drake area. You can get the best armor in the game there and it is very early in the game. D
