Patching Problem!

I have the game that is v1.0. I got it in Russia, so it plays in both Russian and English. I have it on English, and when I try to install the patch, it just says I don't have the game installed, but I do. I tried installing v1.1, same thing. I tried to do some regedit trick on the official forums, but it didn't work...whats wrong?
