Here's a pretty dumb question, spank me if I wasn't supposed to start a new thread for this.

I'm trying out some crystal combinations to get that ideal Short Lightsaber. I haven't really gone overboard so this dilemma might be quite pointless if someone comes up with a combination that's far better then mine. (I'd be very grateful if you did)

I'm ranting again. Let's get on with it.

Mantle of the Force, Solari, Jenurax
Dam: Energy, 5-22
Bonus: Light Side +2-12 vs Dark Side
Critical Threat: 19-20, x2
Balanced +2/+0 vs two-weapon penalty if used in the off-hand
Att Mod: +4
Dex: +1
Blaster Bolt Deflection: +5

or

Mantle of the Force, Solari, Opila
Dam: En 6-23
LS +2-12 vs DS
Cr Threat: 19-20, x2 +2-12
Balanced +2/+0 vs two-weapon penalty...
Att Mod: +6

And Solari too.

I personally would probably go for the second option most of the time, unless you end up against an army armed with blasters. If the dex increase with the first lightsaber increases your AC it may be worth going for though.

Otherwise I'd like the extra critical hit damage

I'm not going to close this thread because I don't know that we've had a numbers discussion of it before, but do a search on Solari in this forum. I know you'll turn up some interesting combos.

Obviously your ready to fight a bunch of dark jedi. Thats pretty much what solari is used for.

You seem set on one that us used to run towards your enemy, with blasters, to kill them quickly, and the other seems more to have endurance in hand to hand, both cases against the dark jedi.

I wouldnt take one all the time. But use your favorite the most. If you think that you may have more use for the other one, switch to the other one.

I myself have never used solari. I use more havy damaging crystals, so I can squash everything like bugs, not just the evil pixels.
