How do you complete the Ployer quest

Ok, I went into the docks district and entered the place called Sea's Bounty Tavern.
As soon as I entered a guy named ployer talked to Jaheria for a while and then placed a curse on her. Now what am I supposed to do? (Casting a remove curse spell doesn't work)Any hints on how to complete this quest would be appreciated

If you check your journal and remember what Ployer said and what Jaheira said immediately after the incident, you will have enough clues to solve the mystery. If you are still having troubles or you want to go straight to the source, I'll give you the location below....

He is in a house in the slums, left of the Jansen home, right of the slavers, I think. Look around there, and you'll find it. After killing him, the curse will fade after a few days. I read a guide somewhere as to how you can do this with varying levels of violenve and XP, but I can't find it now. You may also want to try inquiring at the government district, to get all the options.

.Go to Ployer's home and turn him and his friends into red carpet stains. Find Jaheira's Hair and after about 1 gameday, the curse will be lifted. Ployer's home is in the Slums District. The house just north of the slaver complex.

I had gone to the house in the slums before and killed Ployer but Jaherias curse was still there so I wasn't if there was more to the quest than that.

Rest for 24 hrs...the curse should be gone then
