Tech issue- character hit points gone

Post by liorde »

Hello all,
Don't know what happened, but on the quick slot/ toolbar, where the character portraits are shown, there used to be the hit points. Now they do not appear. Only the portraits are shown.

What gives?

Please advise.

Have you clicked on the portraits themselves? That might bring up the HP or take it away from the display.

I have.

I click on the portrats all the time to select the characters.
Left click selects, right click opens Inv. Maybe dbl-click???

Strange these computers, hey...? Just when you think everything is OK... surprissssse.

It may be double left or right click. I'm not sure, I'll experiment with IWDII later for you :)

I checked. It's the full stop key be default (.) that toggles character HP. If that doesn't work go into your ingame options and look for the keyboard mappings for keys and check for that option.

That should fix it :)

Full stop ?

What does mean "Full Stop" button?
Is that located on the toolbar?

Thanks.

The period key on the keyboard.
If you're still unsure check the options in-game. Somewhere there should be a screen showing all of the keyboard mappings (letters to in-game functions).

Yeah

Perhaps it is in the game configuration.
Okay, I will check.

Thank-you.

Good luck :)

It should be in the config program and inside the game too.

Any luck? The key I'm talking about should be above the space bar and slightly to the right.

Ravager, you were correct.

The '>' sign is the key to press to restore the numbers over the characters portraits.

Thanks a bunch!
