Sidequests...

I just started playing Kotor 2 and must say its more to my liking then 1 but...

are there sidequests and npc related sidequests available again???

If yes is there some sort of walkthrough in case of problems???

Party member quests, like with Juhani, Jolee, ect, in the first one? No, they are not. NPC random charcter quests, like the one with Sasha and the one with freeing the Selkath in the first one, are, as Ravager pointed out above this post.
