is there a way to edit a character to change
his appearence? i mean like, can i change my elf ranger look like drizzt or my wise mage to look like elminster?

Yes. Use the editor known as the Shadowkeeper to alter the animation of your character.Not completely riskfree but the two avatars you mention should propably work without problems. Doesn't Drizzt just use the Elven Fighter avatar by the way?

I think he uses the drow fighter animation. It's a bit different from normal elven but since it works fine in drow city it shouldn't be a problem.
