I have heard that Imoen can get 19 Intelligence from Watcher's Keep. Is this true, that there is some way to increase int.

How can Imoen or any other person increase their intelligence? Imoen has 17 int and the walkthrough says the machine increases the int by 1... somehow 17+1 doesn't seem to =19

Are there any items or whatnot that can increase int by 1?

If you have TDD installed, there is a tome that increases intelligence by 1 in the Halls of Knowledge.

Some people import their characters from BG 1. While you can increases character stats in the first game, they don't carry over into SoA, however, a lot of people simply use shadowkeeper to give their characters back the stat increases they lost when they started SoA.

So, If you increase Imoen's intelligence to 18 in the first game, then use shadowkeeper to keep that increase in SoA, you can get her up to 19.

the protagonist keeps any stats they added in bg1 only if you import the same character you used in BG1. Any stats added to NPCs in bg1 are not recognised in BG2
