Hero's appearance

hey everyone, I had a question about my pure good hero's appearance. I planned to become that pure good paladin of light with a ravaging smile and all, but it appears my hero got cuts all over his body, and what's worse, over his face. I can barely see his skin under the cuts. What's the reason for it? If you go for a melee fighter (i have melee 6/6/6 atm) you WILL have the face / back / chest cut badly, or is it due to something else?

Age and wounds (getting hit) takes it toll.

If you're a melee fighter you will get cuts and scars.
The only thing you can do is use physical shield to protect yourself from being hit. You get scars from getting hit. i know they fade after a while but they won't disappear.

Just wondering, does age reduction at the temples reduce your scars?

it didn't for my guy in fable (maxed all stats and used herosave glitch to become eighteen) he has go cuts all over the place
