Dark Brotherhood leader (spoilers, maybe)

Post by Alien_Newborn »

Since absolutely everything else is going well at the moment, thiss'l probably be my last post for a while, but here it goes......

I'm in Mournhold, having fun, goofin around, and when I finally get around to going on with the quest, that's where my trouble begins. Until I get to the DB hideout, things go well, but when I kill the leader, the death message just keeps repeating itself and I can't leave the dialogue box (in short, the game won't continue so I have to restart my comp). If anyone knows how to fix this, or if you can tell me who can, I would appreciate it.

Have you patched your game?

I have also had issues with my (GoTY) game in the same quest. The leader's body was visible through walls but I couldn't use it. Did a dialogue box pop up when you spoke to him? If not, that may be your problem.

Actually, I tried the patch, which didn't work at first, but that was because the morrowind file had been altered when I used TESTOOL, so I reinstalled and tried it, and it worked. Thanks for suggestions, but it once again looks like I don't need yous guys
