Trouble when Strike goes over 100!

Has anyone else noticed that you start "missing" swings when your strike ability goes over 100? I have the Katana of the Sun (strike +8) and the Golden Wakazihi (sp?) (strike +3) and several strike enhanced bits of armor and rings etc... anyhoo my 31st level character (Trogdor the Burninator) now has a strike value of 101 ... all of the sudden he misses more than he hits! when I equip with a regular sword - I don't miss anymore... does anyone know what is happening? p.s. critical strike is waaay overrated...

Yes, I noticed that happening too. I've commented on it in a few threads. Can you remove a ring or some other trinket to reduce it below 100? I've wondered if maybe the game doesn't recognize the third digit and instead reads it as 01 instead of 101. Anyhow if you can replace a ring or necklace that gives you a strike bonus with one that gives you some magic, fire, ice, petrifaction, etc protection then you should be good to go. D
I just wanted to add that I don't know that going over 100 on your strike statistic causes this problem I only know that I had a similar experience. Since my first time through I haven't played through slowly enough to get any of my stats that high.

thanks, I did remove the Cerebus band - got my strike down below 100 and I am hitting alot more... I also switched to the silver greatsword - (BIG SWORD) and I really seem to hit more with that than the Katana of the sun - (maybe that should be a minus 8 in strike - not a plus 8)

also- when I fight bare knuckles - ninjitsu only (and a shield) I get a hit every time! much higher damage than if a normal fighter fights bare handed!

i probily won';t have this problem cause my strike wont go over 96. i equip the katana of the sun to bring strike to 96, nut then when i eaquip the golden waikazi+1(strike +3) strike stays at 96 and does not go to 99
