I need help in the Shadow Ruins
I have gone through and gotten all ruins except one. The one where you need a stone to activate the two guards, then the door will activate. I cannot find any stones to do this with. Did I do this in the wrong order? Can someone please help, I have a lot of time invested and don't really want to start over.
If you start in the room with the 2 statues you need to activate, head south into the hallway then west and north till you come to a little room. In the little room in the southeast corner is a loose book (tome), click shift while facing the book and a shadow gate will open to the north. Go through the gate and there will be two knights to kill that will give you the stones you need.
If you have done the above before but now you don't have the stones then I am afraid that you have run in to a flaw in the games design. You have gotten the stones and have used them somewhere else (probably the chess puzzle) then I'm not aware of any way to get to the last rune and you'll have to reload a previous save before you used the stones. You can run back to the chess puzzle and see if there are some stones lying around. Also you can check the room south of the Kingston room. You may have left the stone in the knight’s hand on the southern wall. Good luck, D
