Need Silver Keys fast, and early on?-SPOILER

Post by Lumpy »

If u need silver keys early on in the game, all u have to do is take
the "Hobbe cave" from the Guild and go to Rose Cottage, dont go up
to the door, instead go to the circle of flowers and dig up the key,
then Hero save, then load up that hero save, this means u can keep
on repeating this and keep getting loads of silver keys ealry on. :D

I wouldn't recomend this for someone new to the game. I feel that takes away from playing it for the first time as well as the immersion factor. I don't really get any satisfaction from cheating the system...

I dont use cheats the first time i play a game, i may use them the 2nd
time if i want to see what they are like, i also put Spoiler on the Title,
so people know that it could spoil the game if they look at it

for some reason when I did this on the TLC, it wouldnt load my game after the quest. i had a LOT of keys and mass mana, (because of the will masters potion) and it wouldnt autosave to load my game? i was mad. because i think i had about 20 keys.

I got it to work! This method takes a long time to do over and over.
Sam Fisher rescuing two Pilots near a plane wreckage before a call for an air-strike to destroy the remains.

Irving Lambert: You don't even exist, Fisher... You won't get any medals for this.
Sam Fisher: Medals don't help me sleep at night, Lambert.

It aint a flaw. On the normal Fable, I always get the mass keys, (so i can get the Murren Greathammer in the guild) but it never did anything like that before? I'll try it again, I think the game didnt like my character or something. :(

No, the game was not intended to have the hero save function exploited. However, like people do in all games, find ways to exploit certain features, but sometimes this doesn't work. This is the price for you cheating.
In memorian: Fiona; Ravager; Lestat; Phreddie; and all of those from the 1500 incident. Lest we forget.

...Fine?

Does fine include the ruining of the whole purpose of the game?

Look, people, the whole challenge of silver keys is to hunt them down and gain a sense of achievenment when you find them all. But hey, play how you want.

No, I'm saying you can play how you want, but I'm simply warning others that you even if the game remains uncorrupted, it removes some of the challenge.

I'm not telling you how to play, go ahead and knock yourself out, just making sure others realise the whole consequences.
