I have absolutely no idea how this happened, but when I am not wearing armor, my resistances are as follows:
Normal 12/7%
Laser 0/16%
Plasma 0/4%
Explode 0/4%
These resistances stack with whatever armor I am wearing.
The raw number in front represents literal damage reduction, like a barbarian in D&D. I boxed every round straight through in New Reno without taking a single point of damage. I am level 13, and I really don't know how I aquired these awesome passive bonuses.
My traits are One Hander and Skilled. My Perks are Quick Pockets, HTH Evade, and Thief.
HTH evade absolutely should not give this bonus. The most powerful armor I have access to right now is Combat armor.
The describtion on Prize Fighter says that I get a bonus to toughness, but I have never, ever had a character get a free +12 to damage reduction like this before, and a free +16% to laser resist.
I have the game difficulty set to hard and the combat set to rough.
what the heck happened here?
I do not have any of the Combat Armor Implants yet either.
Does anyone know what might have caused this very helpful glitch?
Glitch of a lifetime?
I loaded a previous save of my character when she was level 9, and she had resists of:
Normal 3/1%
Laser 0/3%
everything else was normal.
Remember, this is without any armor and these bonuses stack with what I wear. Anyone seen anything like this before?
I would really like to pin-point what made this happen, so I could duplicate it.

okay... that is a horribly overpowered reputation if you're right.
I am playing with the latest official patch, and I KNOW that prize fighter did not give the damage reduction bonus in the original game.
Also, I had it before I had Prize fighter, only it was weaker.
If this is something they changed in the latest patch, I am going to be furious.
The pacth so far has killed the game in the following three ways:
1. Ammo is WAY too common now.
2. Money is way too common now.
3. There are valuable items all over, on shelves and tables that were once preset to be empty.
and now a possible fourth:
4. Prize Fighter (or some other force) makes you next to indestructable.
I have heard talk about a "survivor mod" that sounds promising, if it makes the game harder, as the name implies.

Yes, I found a walk through that talks about it.
It seems that every time you get in the ring to fight, you are awarded permanent bonuses, such as these.
I am still uncertain if this is due to a patch or I simply didn't notice it before. I always do the New Reno boxing, and I recall my damage reduction being 0 without my armor when I fought the Martial Arts Master in San Fran.
Wow, 16% on the laser resist (21% now that I have the first Phoenix implant). Guess that was luck.
