Badly in need of a save file *spoiler possible

Ok, I unknowingly performed that explot trick on a silver key in the Necropolis and now I cannot proceed through the game as when I try to get the souls for the girl the game crashes to desktop at the auto save.

This is quite bad as I have clocked up lots of time into this I don't really feel like starting over.

It would be great if there is someone with a save that is just before the necropolis task (the stones) with a good character. If someone has something like that could you upload the save file for me.

*It would also be useful if there is a way to turn Auto Save off so I can just finish the game....

EDIT: This is TLC for PC btw.
