In Game Map Help

If I remember correctly one of the buttons will switch to local. It should tell you down on the bottom of your map. Btw the PC version is sooo much better. I was playing Morrowind on XBox for a long time. I got the PC version and I'm really enjoying the game much more.

Please don't bait other forum members who have a different version of MW. We've gone through near-wars on Xbox and PC. they're long buried--and we're going to keep them there. ;) No reply is necessary.

jager, have you reload the game?

It may be different in XBox ver, but the PC version has this problem that the in game local map don't load properly when you move one section to another, particularly in wilderness.

I don't know what cause it, but usually reloading helps to solve the problem (just save on the spot, then reload the game should do. You don't have to reload from previous save game).

I once had to do this 3 times in an hour. That was annoying, I must say.

PS. Please do not post new threads regarding the same problem, particularly not within such a short time. This place is occupied by many people, but in different time zone and people are not available all the time to answer your questions.

Yeah this does tend to happen sometimes. I found a solution though that seems to work. When you jump/fly high enough the map will disappear anyway, once you come back down it is usually working once again. I dunno why but this always seems to fix my map.

Note that when I jump I jump high, my guy was played for a while and a jump takes me high enough that I fall for a good 8-12 seconds.
