Watcher's Keep level 5 made easy

Post by Wooly »

I had no trouble at all with the huntress party on watcher's keep level five. Basically, here is what I did...

I summoned a Deva and an Earth elemetal and went to the room marked #4 on the walkthrough. Everybody went in there, to the far back wall. The earth elemental and the Deva were closer to the door. I then used a hasted character and unlocked the seal. Of course, all the bad guys chased my character back into the room. When everybody was in the room my party all ran for the portal and left the dungeon.

Entering the dungeon again, nobody was in sight. Minsc inched towards room # 4 and successfully pulled one enemy at a time back to the group. That is basically all there was to it. One enemy followed him all the way back to the portal. I killed that enemy, and was then even able to save and recast protections. Rinse and repeat. It was dead easy.

My hardest fight was the one that the walkthrough said was the easiest. That first guy could only be hit by one of my weapons, wielded by Viconia. Needed a +5 weapon to hit.

Hey, if you're bored, why not take em head on? There's nothing like seeing a bunch of high-level sprites prancing across the screen while balls of flame are falling.
...ewwwww. What is bad smell? You been killing dragons?

That takes away the whole challenge of the fight. That groups fights well as a unit. do you think you would stand a chance, one of your guys vs the 6 of them?

Didnt think so....

That's my strategy and I'm sticking to it. :) If I fought the entire group at once they'd rip my party to pieces.

The previous fight (The flaming skulls) I had to lure the skulls off to fight, too. When I had finished the flaming skulls, their masters protections had all fallen. (cackle). What an easy fight that was. Mazed two of my fighters and still I killed him when he was alone.
