Hk-50?
Reaper here.
Has anyone been able to find the HK-50 factory in KOTOR II? Once HK-47 is repaired after Nar Shaddaa you do not see the HK-50 droids again. Meaning the tracking device is never signalled again.
So how do you find the factory? Better still can you find the factory? If anyone here has done it please reply.

The TSL is currently adding this on to the game. However, my knowledge of the project is nowhere near as indepth as w666tvr.
It was cut out of the original SW KotOR II script, so there is no droid factory in the game at this moment.

I don't quite understand...?
Are you saying the makers of KOTOR II were going to put in a factory, but didn't get round to doing it?

Yes, they never did get around to making it, and actually cut it out of the script, along with severalm other scenes and plots in the game. Several doors that look like they should go somewhere and show up locked actually used to be where you were supposed to go.
The TSL, from what I hear from the said person above, is a fan base making some alterations for the game which will be available for public use. It will add back many of the things which are missing from the game at the current time.

How do you all know this?
I've read a lot of threads. Questions along this line popped up before, and many people, such as w666tvr, knew quite a bit of the project, and decided to divulge quite a bit with us.
I can search for an old thread with a synopsis of what they pulled out, if you want, but I doubt it was fully up to date when they made it.

HK-50 may ne in kotor3
One of the latest rumors I've heard. (it is only an unconfirmed rumnor) is that the hk-50/47 story will be playe dout in kotor3. I read an article in a magazine a while ago, but it was not official. But given george lucas' predisposition for putting droids in everything star wars I think there is a good chance it will happen. (Though there is no telling how much time will be devoted to the story).

From the TSL Restoration Projects FAQ page
So, that is a firm "maybe". But, note that the XBox must be modded, otherwise it will be "no" whatever the team are able to do.Q: I have the XBox version of the game and a (legally) modded XBox - will your mod work on it?
A: At this point we're unsure. There are reports that new model files (.mdl's) - which the mod will likely contain - do not work on the XBox. After our work is completed we may look into creating a more fully compatible version for the XBox.
LucasArts in interview with GameSpy, September 2004
"We were hoping we could bring the Xbox platform into December but didn't want to make the formal announcement until we knew an earlier ship date would not compromise the quality of The Sith Lords," says Producer Mike Gallo.
