Missing wave shaft

Ive just finnished the Astral prison quest but icant find the wave shaft and prison key.Everything is dead (didnt see any gollems though)except for Haer Dallis and Co.Ive looked all over the shop and found spare ammo and all the other items but no shaft.Should i just magic it in?

My guess is that you've released the planar prison prisoners and they've gone amock. The problem is in particular is somehow at some point, the warden or one of the prisoners uses Cone of Cold, killing who ever has the Halberd Staff on them.

Cone of Cold works in a way similar to disintergrate or petrification in that it tends to destroy items...

If you really want to the shaft that much you could always use a cheat to get it.
