console problems...

Post by Bo-Halvar »

hey, people!
Now before you start hating me for being a cheater I gotta say that I've finished the game several times before, without cheats :p
now... when I get that console up when I'm playing and get all I want and stuff, I can't return to the game afterwards! :(
what's up with that?
so I can put up the console and type in some cheats but when I exit the console I can't keep playing.
how am I supposed to do?

Doesn't matter whether you're playing for the first time or the tenth, Bo-Halver: you paid for the game. The forums are here to provide information on it, and if anybody gives you grief about that, report 'em.

And welcome to GameBanshee. :)

What I have learned about the tricky console is thus:

Hit the "~" key to bring up the console screen, type in the command you want, hit Enter to execute, and then hit the "~" again, to lower the screen. Don't try and close it or whathaveyou, or it will freeze everything up.

And I am right there with you; I played several times through before using the console and now it's my right and I never leave my Haven without it.

Actually as you get more familiar with it and browse this forum for tips, you're going to find an awful lot of fun things to do:angel:

Very true indeed.

In addition to the console Bo-Halvar, you will find m,any new skins by browsing herder. Like new skins for the Glock, katana, Desert Eagle, etc.; as I did with my new and improved Desert Eagle Hellfire - blued frame with red glowing slide and highlights and exploding tipped ammo. Hopefully I will pictures to post soon and the skin mods if folks are interested.
