OK, so you get Mira if you are LS when you enter the Jekk Jekk Tarr and Hanharr if you are DS.
Does anyone know where along the alignment axis the cutoff point is? Is it halfway, or do you have to have a strongly Light Alignment? I ask because my next project is to achieve a Dark Mastery Mira, and I want to know what is the minimum LS position I need to go to aquire her, before I start clawing back my way to the DS.
A question about getting Mira in your party (spoilers)
You have to be significantly DS to get Hanharr. If you are around the "neutral" point you will still get Mira. More precisely than that, I don't know.
LucasArts in interview with GameSpy, September 2004
"We were hoping we could bring the Xbox platform into December but didn't want to make the formal announcement until we knew an earlier ship date would not compromise the quality of The Sith Lords," says Producer Mike Gallo.

You should be able to get mastery with certain charactors that already lean to your side (eg. making Visas get dark mastery is possible, but may not be with light mastery) if you have enough (i believe the maximum is required) influence and mastery yourself.
as for hanharr and Mira, it is not only determined by your alignment but by whether or not you side against or for the exchange while on Nar Shadaa

I played as a Jedi Sentinel/Watchman and I got Atton, Bao-Dur, Mira, T3-M4, Handmaiden and Visas (!) to Light Side Mastery. The trick is about gaining influence: if you have Light Side Mastery yourself, every party member with whom you have maximum influence will have the same alignment as you (except Kreia, of course).
It would be an interesting experiment to see whether you can get HK-47, Mandalore, G0-T0 or Hanharr to Light Side Mastery, since you have to gain Dark Side Points to maximize your influence with them...
As for Mira and Hanharr, I never heard that your siding with or against the Exchange would have any effect on which one you get.

Nope,
I got Vissa to be 100% good as a ls player, the key is your influence on the NPC's. With enough they align with you. You can also get a 'feel' to where you stand with them by looking at your alignment & compare it to theirs. The closer the 2, the more influence. That is why some report a glitch of a 'total good' T3 on the Hawk, but you drop him on a planet in your party & all of a sudden he is the most evil robot. They align with you.
Hanhar joins your party if you are evil, Mira if good. Siding with the exchange gets you ds points, beating them up ls points. It is determined by alignment.

Nope again (been there, tried that, got post cards). They are only influenced by ds points, so they only go the dark path. Saving a kitten in front of HK only gets negative influence & light points, where as shooting it out of the tree will get positive influence & dark points

Are you certain of this? Suppose you put HK in your party, shot the kitten, got +INF, then went and saved 4 other kittens when he wasn't around (or kittens that don't affect INF), thus regaining your own Light Mastery? This definitely works the other way round, to get Bao-Dur and Disciple Dark Mastery, as I've done it. I don't see why it shouldn't work to give HK Light Mastery. I've never tried it, because I find the robots about as much use as a chocolate saucepan...
