Knighting Anomen

Post by McJanus »

Hi, I'm a new BG2 player, going through the game for the first time. I'm just wondering if getting Anomen to cleric level 15 is the only way to get him knighted. I don't want to waste all those experience on him, but I just want to see what the knighting is like.

Thanx a lot for your responses

Actually, I got him knigted when he gained the level 14, so.. And are you planning to have him along through all the game? If not, you could just let him stand in the Copper coronet, and pick him up, when you're that level yourself. The NPC's gain levels even if you don't have them with you.

well, no.
That does not matter, after X days a mensanger from the order will come and tell him that is time to him to take the test.
With the romance can be faster, he will tell you that is going to take the test and we sould be going to the order.
that only happen after a messanger cames and tell him that is sister was murdered, you must go to his house in the Goverment District and make a decision in what he(and us) sould do about that.Is that quest that determin if he gets knighted or not.

Well, I'm not planning on taking him through the game... that's what's troubling me.

As well, I've already had him in my party, then dropped him, so I don't think that he'll automatically gain level on his own, right? Otherwise the game could get pretty weird, where every single NPC has an insanely high level without having done anything.

Thanx for the prompt reply. It's cool to get a reply so soon after posting my first topic.

Yes, I have gone through the whole spiel with Saerk and convincing him not to become a vigilante. So now all I have to do is wait for the messenger to come? What's the x number of days that I have to wait for?

Since I'm not playing as a female PC, there is no romance. *sigh* I don't like having him in my party, cuz he's really not that useful as just plain old Anomen.
