Anyway, preparing for the weekend brings to mind some of our past escapades.
One evening we decided it would be great fun to take a bottle of wine to the beach and observe the thunderstorm brewing over the Straight of Juan de Fuca in Port Angeles, WA....
Of course, neither of us remembered to bring a torch...
As we were trying to make our way up the (dark) path, my friend exclaimed, "We certainly could use some light right about now!"
Less than 30 seconds later a bolt of lightening struck the ground several feet in front of us :speech:
I'm not suggesting this was any sort of supernatural event or anything like that. It was just one of those bizarre things that simply happen sometimes. I did, however, turn to my friend and say, "The next time you say that and I'm with you, could you please make sure there is *not* a lightening storm going on overhead; ending up as the evening's BBQ special isn't high on my list of things to do."
So, do you have any experiences where some sort of startling coincidence has occurred?
