T3-M4's skill too low? Game Glich?

Post by Thran Baill »

In the first part of the game on Peragus, when you take control over T3, I'm getting a message of "skill too low" when I'm trying to place a mine on the door of the secure cargo hold just outside of where the ebon hawk sits in the hanger bay complex. This seems very odd to me...my skill in demolitions is a 6...I also have searched repeatedly the bodies and containers in the area and in the part of the fuel depot where T3 has access too, and nothing has helped.

Any ideas?

what type of mine are you trying to place? - with dem of 6 you prob can only use minor mines.

Would I be right in assuming you are playing on "Hard"?

Hard (amongst other things) increases the DCs required for the successful use of demolition skills. The deadly sonic mines you have can't be planted by T3 with his current skill (and it will be a while before you can level him up). You will have to blow up 3CFD from the nearby console to open the door instead.

"We were hoping we could bring the Xbox platform into December but didn't want to make the formal announcement until we knew an earlier ship date would not compromise the quality of The Sith Lords," says Producer Mike Gallo.

Ahhh..yes, the game level is indeed on hard. I may just set it back to normal for the time being, if I can't get the other solutions to work. (Oh, and the mines in question I believe are average? sonic mines).

Many thanks!
