A few questions...
Hi, all! I'm new to the forums, and I did search around and read other posts and such before deciding to ask it myself. Well, here it goes:
1) I was wondering if someone has ever tried the following: making a female character, and trying to get two third tier classes, by joining the sisterhood. I am aware that 2 class slots are supposed to be first tier, another 2 for second tier, and the fifth one for the third tier class, but I was wondering if it wasn't possible by joining the sisterhood, since no specific first tier class is needed to get their second and third tier classes, which would free up one class slot. I am currently trying the following character:
Human Female ; Fighter/Marauder/Deathlord/Enchantress/War Witch.
If it is in absolutely no way possible, I'll just get rogue instead of war witch.
Was really just wondering if someone else tried this.
By the way, if there is some solution to this, by changing something in the game's files and somebody knows how, I'd consider it a viable solution, too.
2) As stated above, I'm going for the Deathlord third tier class. As somebody else posted in another thread, it needs 10 lvls in Heavy Armor, Weapons and Shields, apart from 7 lvls in Nether and Rune magic (I already fulfill by far the attribute pre-reqs).
My character is currently just a Fighter/Marauder/Enchantress, so The only bonuses I have to the Heavy Armor, Weapons and Shields skills are from marauder and fighter classes only.
It took me several millions XP to get Heavy armor to 10, even with 88 in intelligence (not really sure if it's much, but should help a little anyway). I killed about 400 (in Hard difficulty, so they give much more XP) moonbeasts and many Fire Drakes, and after I finally reached 10 in Heavy Armors, i thought the worst part was over, only to find out that Heavy Armor and Heavy Shields skills have both the same cost to raise, so I'd have to do it all over again to get Heavy Shields to lvl 10, too.
I was quite upset about this, so now I decided to ask here if there is any spot where only Fire Drakes spawn, because farming moonbeasts is very boring, the Skuldoon's arena farming takes too long (not because of the fights, but because running back to the ticket booth all the time takes too much time), and the Fire Drake's breeding area only spawns new Drakes too rarely to be worth the time. I still haven't done the Naga Temple, but have already unlocked the Vale of Ruin (not even sure if Fire Drakes spawn there).
If there is also a way to set my Heavy Shields to lvl 10 via file editing, and somebody could teach me how, I'd appreciate it. You may consider it cheating, but after farming and wasting all this time just to get ONE of the needed skills to the required level (I'm already level 25, before even going to the Naga Temple ), I really think I deserve to put at least the Heavy Shields skill at level 10, too.
3) For a pure spellcasting character, what is more useful: Spellfire (for magic resistant enemies) or Drainlife (because the classes that give it, give other good skills as well) ?
Thanks for reading, and also thanks in advance for any help and replies.
Regards.

1. I'm not sure if you could leave that first tier space blank and get the second tier sisterhood class or not, maybe you can. Not likely you can get a third tier class in its place.
2. I don't think it's really possible to get enough exp. points to get deathlord with only one bonus in heavy armor, shields and weapons. But drakes spawn down between the nesting area and Arindale. It seems they spawn mostly at night. You could try turning up your spawn rate. Sometimes they spawn one after another and sometimes it seems you don't get any. Here is a program to increase you armor, weapons etc skills http://www.indominae.com/files/dlcharedit14.zip
It's very easy to use. Make a backup save before you mess with it.
3. spellfire. Drain life heals you but you can buy heal potions/ spells for that. If you want to empty a room with one blast nova go with spellfire. D

Sure I tried it and it didn't work. I used a female and started celestial (I had to start with something, maybe should have tried fighter) and after leaving Fargrove I chose Valkyrie/Paladin/Crusader which put me in a Adept/Paladin/Crusader/Valkyrie and it wouldn't let me quest for warwitch. My heraldry was full so maybe somewhere I messed up. Maybe it's possible if you don't do the House of Dragon quest in Fargrove since they give you heraldry after completion. I'm thinking the game works on certain factors for tiers and heraldry is one of those, whether you have an open slot or not for class advancement.
Hope that is in the ballpark for an answer for you. Try a female without doing the house of dragon. That seems to be where I had a problem.

If you do not know yourself or your opponent you will always lose, if you know yourself and not your opponent you will lose 50% of the time, to know yourself and your opponent you will win 100% of the time:mischief:

First start your game and open the save you want to edit then save it again in a second slot (the last slot, #9 is a good choice) name it something like "edit". Exit your game. Right click DL icon. Click "properties". Click "find target". Toward the top of the page double click "save". Now find the save you want to edit and drag it out on to your desktop. Open DLCharedit and click "load game". Browse your desktop and find your save and open it. At the top left of DLcharedit you should see the name of the save, make sure you have the right save loaded. I haven't messed with increasing my inventory with the program so I'll leave that for you to experiment with. Changing your skill levels is pretty self explanatory. Some of the skills are mislabeled. If you increase "spellfire" you'll get "crushing blow" for example but most of them are right. Don't increase your skills to crazy levels because sometimes they break if you do. Never increase your "strike" over 99 or it will break and you won't be able to hit the broad side of a barn. Make your changes and save them. Put your save back in your game using the same method you used to take it out. Open DL and start your edited save and see what you have done and take it for a spin to make sure everything is as it should be. D

I don't think you can use that program to add items but, you can use this program to do it http://www.indominae.com/files/HEdit21r.exe . Here I copied the directions for HEdit from a post by indominae.
I make a list of things in my inventory that I don't want and look up the Hex numbers for them. Then make a list of what I want and look up the hex numbers for them. Load your save and do a search for your name as Indominae explains then search for an item I don't want useing the hex number. Then replace the Hex number with the number of an item I want. I've only tried changing weapon for weapon, armor for armor, celestial spell for celestial spell etc. Not sure what happens if you try and change a spell for a weapon for example. There is a sticky post at the top of the Gamebanshee DL forums that has a list of all the items in the game and their Hex number. DOnce ran it lists the file in Hex on the left, and ASCII on the right.
It also has a search function where you can search for your characters name, or you can scroll down and look for it 3 times on the right.
I recommend clicking Edit and then Find, typing in your characters name and clicking OK, then just hit the function3 key {F3 key} twice or untill you hear a ding, and click "OK" to "Data was not found". Then you should be in the right place to search for what you want to change.

For Vartugg to return after acquiring his eye, you'll need to place four relics in the Chamber of Secrets in Talendor. Basically, returning the eye to Vartugg sets up the endgame sequence.

Bakck to the original question.
1. You simply cannot get 2 third tier classes.
2. You can get a Fighter/Rogue/Maurader/Enchantress/Deathlord is possible. However, it will require you to get to at least level 42 before you can accomplish it.
The problem with this character build is that the best reason to choose an enchantress would be to get 2 levels in either arcane or celestial magic. So, you should commit to a long development period and take one of those classes instead of rogue if you keep going. I made a similar enough character and it is possible. It's just a lot of work.
If you do continue with this path I suggest that you go to the shadow ruins and get to the chess puzzle section. This is the best area for gaining tons of experience over a few hours. Do the puzzle wrong time and again and kill the statue that comes alive each time. You will zoom up in experience on hard difficulty. They are a total piece of cake and you can kill several every minute with no damage taken and for over 12k each. Just ID one of the swords of stone that the others athenas drop and use it on them. Otherwise use this stone on the other athena's in the shadow realm and reap in huge exp off of them.
3. Drain life does not work for war witches. Be aware of that. It appears that this skill has been removed from them. It can put points in it, but it has been disabled and I think it is a mistake on the developers part that it even shows up any more. The skill has been removed from the official list in the manual, which is now the best source for this type of data. INstead, war witches get an insane heraldry, which might explain the reason for this action. Like others have said though, Spellfire is better anyway.
