Trying for Deathlord..Help??

I am currently mage/fighter/knight/shugenja..All my stats are in the high 40's..I have a lvl 8 in heavy weapons, lvl 7 in heavy armor and shield..How am I supposed to get the points to advance to lvl 10..It already costs 711450 to go to lvl 9 heavy weapons..I have already killed all the fire drakes, fought the minotaur for hours and the moonbeasts don't spawn often enough..Any other high point kills?? I just finished the naga temple and got the 2nd relic..

I suppose you are playing the v4 patch? and the requirements for class advancement work and are held accountable? well, if so, set your encounter rate (game options) to high and monster difficulty to more and run up and down the vale of ruin and see how many points you get (if you live to level up that is...) good luck!

If you have Knight as your second tier class then you must be going for Lord not Deathlord. You have to be a Marauder to become Deathlord.
With the class requirements in effect with patch 1.4 I don't think it is really possible to become a Lord or a Deathlord without picking up a second bonus in Heavy armor, heavy shields and heavy weapons in you second tier non-fighter class. In other words you have to have Paladin, Valkyrie or battlemage as your other second tier class or the requirements are just too high. I think the requirements were just never beta tested because even with one of the above second tier classes the requirements are still too high. D

There are two ways to get to be a Death Lord (and also... you can't be one as ferncliff sayed because you are not Mardauer).

1) Kill enemies for a year (what I do

).
2) Use a trainer (but thats cheat ofcourse :mischief: ).

And forgot to say that altough im a Fighter / Mage / Mardauer / BattleMage
I have same prices as the guy up said... 7XXk for lvl 9 and 12XXk for lvl 10 (1.2XX.XXX).

That's because battlemage doesn't get heavy weapons. Your heavy armor, heavy shield will be a lot less then his. With one bonus in heavy armor it cost in the neighborhood of 6 million exp. points to go from lev 9 to 10. With 2 bonuses in heavy armor, like you have, it will cost < 2 million. D

Actualy you wroth a Deathlord but that dosn't matter.

Ferncliff - The prices in the heavy weapons/shields/armors are the same for me altough i have 1 in HW and 2 in HS/A and if its a 6 milion or 2... it dosn't realy matter because who the heck will want to spend a year only to become a Deathlord ? I will start a new char when my new computer (yey !

) will come and think what ? it will NOT BECOME A DEATHLORD BECAUSE DL MADE IT ALMOST NOT POSSIBLE TO BE ONE !!!
I think thats kind of stupid of DL and I advice you DL patch workers (hmm?) that when you get out the official 1.4 you will change it to normal so people will have a chance to have the Heavy/Medium weild.
