Cloak of Mirroring

Post by FoulDwimmerlaik »

Damn game is so non-linear, things are always in different places. The C of M is supposed to be worn by the Priestess (Sahuagin) in the Sahuagin city, but instead, after I slew her I picked up the "Useless Robe of Reflection". Anybody find the Cloak of Mirroring somewhere else?

Sounds like they've learned a trick or two from the IWD boys. Where is the cloak of reflection usually found - aren't they close together?

If they're that close, maybe the 2 items are randomised sometimes?

possibly i never paid that much attention...I just know you get both from the fish city...the reflection shield that reflects electrical damage is not that great since there arent that many monsters that shoot electricity at you. So I hardly use it. I never really paid attention to which one comes first. "But you get both from Sahuagin City".

thanks, I haven't finished the city yet. When we appeared in the city, the Priestess was going on about something, but I responded (in true role-playing style) with the most aggressive comments which made all of the gaurds and the Priestess attack. I slew them all easily and have since been proceeding through the city. Has anyone else done this? I'm wondering if doing that means I miss out on something...or can't complete it.

Cloak of mirroring is not with the Priestess.

ROFL, I believe the priestess is supposed to introduce you to the king...then he will ask you to kill the renegade prince...(evil path)..the prince will ask you to kill the kind (good path)...then you can just kill the prince after he rewards you...(my path) to get the wave shaft...

ahh, there you are waverly. Thanks for the tips everyone, though as usual, no one actually *agrees* on where something, at least the consensus is that its *somewhere* in the Sahuagin city. I thought I was standing on the circle in the center of the jaws, but I shall try again....

If you already triggered the ambush, look on the ground, BUT depending on how long ago it was it could be gone now. If you haven't been ambushed w/in the jaws, then you are all set.
BTW the priestess is on YOUR side, LOL.

Are you sure you got the Cloak of Reflection from her? I believe it comes from the table during the testing part of spellhold.

The Cloak of Mirroring is on A Sahuagin priestess, but not the one that talks to you initially. The one with the cloak is usually found near the middle of the giant shark jaws monument.

You are right, Nighthawk. Cloak of Reflection is in the Asylum.

Argh. The Cloak of Pathetic Reflection was in the Asylum in YOUR game, not mine. In mine, I was ambushed in the jaws and searched everyone's items and found the C of PR (electrical) on the Priestesses body. I have not yet seen the Cloak of Mirroring. Someone suggested the imp puzzle, which I haven't gotten to yet, so I guess I'll try there.
