Need acess to Shadow Realm

For some reason after placing the shadow crystal at the altar in the Shadow Ruins the portal didn't open. I then tried using hex editor and turned an extra dragon egg i had into a shadow crystal in order to try using it to gain acess but the altar already has the prior one I inserted and wont accept it. just wondering if indominae or anyone else has any insight on how to reset the Altar using the hex editor so hopefully I can get in and complete the mission. Anyone else with any other insight on how to possibly get in let me know........frustrating that these bugs have not been adressed and fixed.

Remember allways backup before usin´ HEX, there could be very unexpected results later in the game.... If u have done something earlier with HEX editor, that maybe just caused it.

No Hex editor was used in the game at all so there was no reason for this glitch. I only tried using hex editor after reading some of Indominae's posts regarding swapping in certain items. Anyways my character is like lvl 45 now with almost 40 mill exp and I've gotten tired of squashing all the firedrakes and killing in Vale of Ruin..would like to see the end game without having to restart a char from scratch. If anyone has any insight on how to possibly get into the Shadow Realm please let me know. The only way I could think of was to reset the shadow altar..........

The next time you play up to the Unholy Arc area, SAVE before placing the blood. The only other two options are update to 1.4, or get your own CE edition!

if you went in once already and came back out then you activated a bug in the game and will not be able to get in again. sorry

The only reason I know this happens is if you save and reload after placing the stone. The portal disappears.
I have seen several warnings about trying to change your position inside buildings (bad things happen) but if you want to try it here is a program http://www.indominae.com/files/dlcharedit14.zip and here are the coordinates for inside the shadow ruins X 18531 Y 50295 Z 18435 . I would make a second copy of the save you want to edit before editing. Good luck and report back if it works.... or not. This program doesn't seem to work with the CE. D

I have big problem: i am in Shadow Ruins and already activated 3 rune glyphs and there is some bug or something like that, becouse then you jump (colored bridges) on over side on the left must be a room there is last rune glyph BUT then go through shadow door a room dont apears !!! what a heck is this? can i activate this rune glyph in over way??? maybe is here some cheat to have relic of power? PLEASE help me...
