ive searched the academy and the valley of the dark lords and ive found nothing to give to him

in this room there is a footlocker and inside it is a data pad give that to dustil and turn him back to the light

You'll need to betray Yuthara (at least once) to get it. If you tell Uthar that his apprentice is planning on killing him, he'll give you a datapad to give to some guy to poison her (you don't have to actually give the guy that datapad, you just have to tell Uthar about her plan), then go back and talk to Yuthara and tell her what you did. She'll be mad, but will also give you something to poison him with and a key to get into his room. Once you're in his room, you can check the footlocker (or storage cylinder, or whatever it was) and there you'll find a datapad with Dustil's info on it. If Carth is in your party, he'll tell you to look at it and say you should go back and show it to Dustil.

or... you could just bring t3 with you and break in to uthars room.... then you get the data pad in a foot locker and bring the pad t dustil. dustil will freak out and tell carth that hell meet carth on telos after the war.
