Infinite XP

Post by Wrath »

Well this may sound stupid, but I just found a way to get as much XP as you want in FO2. well, actually, I haven't. My little brother did so. It's a weird way to do it, and it's kinda stupid 'cause it will take you a whole era to reach some levels. Still, you can get as much as you want.
First, take some booze if you want to be sure. If you want to do it in Arroyo, so you'll have no booze, but some healing powder should do just fine. So get an item, like your spear, implant it on somebody. Then, steal it. Doing this you'll get 20 xp, and you can do this as much as you want to. So doing this for like, 50 times, you'll get a level :D

not cool huh? Well I just thought you should know :D

i tried these in unpatched version, so im not sure if it works in patched also.

first:
Go to NCR and then go to that woman with robot that needs help about some policeman who wants to kill himself with dynamite. Allow him to explode, damaging machines. Now she will be sad and stuff. You repair that machine on wall, called VOD or something, and then talk to her. She will give you some books as well 3000-4000 experience. You can repeat this as long as you want.

second:
Solve Vault 15 problem about Khan Raiders. When you find holodisk in vault 15 computer, go back to Tandi and talk to her about it. She will tell you to talk to her assistant, Gunther. Tell him about it and ull get money reward and 5000 experience. He will take the holodisk. Steal that holodisk from him and tell him about it again and again :)

Cant think of anymore right now, it was a long time since i played fallout2

All old methods. Something hard is to finish fallout without using the multiple XP receiving cheeses. I've finished it three times with cheese, and after that I've avoided cheesing too much. Without the cheese you're lower level at the enclave, and then you need to use your guile to avoid being destroyed by Frank Horrigan.

It's not really much difference in the harder levels, you just have to be a bit more creative :D . Thanks for the tip Wrath, i never thought of that myself  .

I always explore the complete map before I go to the Enclave/Cathedral/Militairy base, so gaining some extra XP.
