kotor/nwn style rpg?

Post by mr_sir »

i love the older style rpgs, and the baldurs gate games, but lately i have really got into the neverwinter nights, kotor style games. as i've finished all the games i have numerous times i'm considering investing in another. anyone got any suggestions of good rpgs with good stories (the story is important to me) that are similar in game play to the kotor series, neverwinter nights and vampire:bloodlines?

edit: they can be for an average to reasonably good pc or for the ps2 as they are the things i have :)

Have you tried Gothic 2, if that piques your intrest then maybe Gothic 1 (controls are a little harder).
Gothic 2 Night of the Raven is selling for $20 US now, it is 4 Cds, the 4 being Night of the Raven, which you do not want to install yet.
NotRaven (the addon for Gothic 2) makes the game very hard, so save that for last.

If the poll last week was correct Gothic series is the next walkthru. :D

Also, if you catch the Gothic bug, Gothic 1 has been rereleased and is now $20 US as well.
Between Gothic, Gothic 2 and NotR you will get about 60 hours of exellent game play for $40.
Trust me, most of the names I have been called you can't translate in any language...they're not even real words as much as a succession of violent images.
