*coughs* I believe it was something along the lines of "Away from me booty you land-lubbing fool!"
"You can do whatever you want to me."
"Oh, so I can crate you and hide you in the warehouse at the end of Raiders?"
"So funny, kiss me funny boy!" / *Sprays mace* " I know, I know, bad for the ozone"

What a pirate says depends on where he/she is from. You see, British Pirates/Privateers originally said "Arr", but with a silent "G", spelled "Garr". This was descended from norse Viking/Pirates who pronounced the "G", making it "Garr". Finally, American/New World Pirates changed the "G" to a "Y"... making it "Yarr".

Of course, the real question isn't what Pirates said, but rather what kind of socks they wore?

Arrrr-gyle!

Yarr. It has always been Yarr, sometimes, when they're feeling rather emotional, Pirates may deviate to things such as 'arr' or 'garr' but that's only really when they run out of rum.

Semantically speaking...

Yarr! - the more general use form
Arr! - more aggressive/to express displeasure
Garr! - the emotive form
"I fart in your general direction! Your mother was a hamster, and your father smelt of elderberries!"

Not terribly much since they use both Yarr and Arr. But if you want the original site for Talk Like A Pirate Day, here it is: http://www.talklikeapirate.com/piratehome.html

That's the "Barr!" option then.

This is the best poll anybody has ever made, ever.
"Be thankful you're healthy."
"Be bitter you're not going to stay that way."
"Be glad you're even alive."
"Be furious you're going to die."
"Things could be much worse."
"They could be one hell of a lot better."
