By party exists of me (Monk), Korgan, Minsc and Nalia. These are final for now. I'm having trouble with choosing between these though: Valygar, Keldorn and/or Jaheira. I need 2, I like 3... What's your opinion?

2 out of 3... Valygar, Keldorn and/or Jaheira?

I don't know what your alignment is, but I recommend you ditch Korgan for Keldorn. Sure, Korgan is a kick-ass fighter as far as I know, but I never used him (except for his personal quest) and came out allright. His alignment might eventually collide with that of other party members. This then leaves two NPC's for two slots, which makes a good fit, according to me!
Are you CRAZY?!!! Drop Korgan? That's like... like.... blasphemy!!! Korgan is the best fighter in the game and probably the funniest one at that. Korgan is God, with an Axe to boot. Drop Korgan... You must be out of your mind!!!! Ever seen Korgan dual-wield an Axe in one hand and de Flail of Ages in the other? Not only is he more deadly than Keldorn (sorry excuse for a paladin, or a man, or a (human) being for that matter!), he could kick anybody's ass in no-time. Ever seen him walking and talking. That alone is what makes this game truly genius. I'dd take Korgan over Keldorn AND Minsc... ANYTIME!!! Let's not forget that....

I suggest you keep Korgan for the Crom Faeyr (THAC0 +12 total !) as he can easily achieve grandmastery in warhammers.Try to dual-wield a Dwarven Thrower (in Trademeet) and Korgan will become a true killing machine!
As for alignment conflicts,he has some trouble with Airee; but as far as I know with none of the ones you mention.
Leave Keldorn and go for Valygar and Jaheira.
They have far more abilities to add to your party and Valygar also has good weapon proficiencies (correctly spelled?)

Baassie, don't says like that... it really depends on your own "style", leaving Korgan is not "crazy"..., anyway, if your main character is good or neutral, then I suggest you take Keldorn, leave Korgan, if you're evil, then no doubt you'll need Korgan(and also the dark elve cleric, you should know who, she can control undead!)
Here's my strategy for Keldorn(not hacked):
Weapon: Holy Avenger (50% magic resistance)
Armor: Read Dragon Scale (-1 Armor class)
Hand: Gauntlet of Dexirity
Boots: Boots of speed
Girdle: Girdle of Frost/Stone giant strength
Helmet: Vhailor's Mask (for semiculum, +1 AC)
Cloak: Cloak of the sewer(+1 to AC)
Amulet: Green Stone Amulet(Mind Sheild)
Rong of protection +2 & ring of Gaxx
ok, now you got a Paladdin with 70%+ magic resustance with -11 AC + hasted!! I used him(just 1 ppl) to walk around the village of demon(for the planar sphere quest, don't remeber the name) and slain all the demons there, ends up with no hit point loss(becoz of regeneration )
Just wondering what will Korgan be, what's your strategy for him? For me, he didn't works very well... get kill fast if facing 2 or 3 spell caster...

For the Glory of Holy!
Both my parties have been good aligned so far ... okay, so my Neutral Good Fighter/Thief dated Neutral Evil Viconia ... but the others were all Good aligned; Korgan just doesn't fit that picture.
And when he and Viconia had a conversation, he was done for ... check my thread called "Korgan and Viconia" from a while back for a spoiler.
I don't know if Korgan only picks on Aerie, but also his remarks regarding my decisions hit me as somewhat annoying and offensive to the party in general.

I still feel Korgan is an essential. And I really like him being the only Evil person in my group. He's always sturring things up, aspecially with Jaheira. That is why I have chosen to drop Keldorn. It's probably me and he may be a great fighter with all the gear you can give him, but I really want to check out Valygar. He just looks too cool dual-wielding 2 katana's, not to mention that I want to enter the sphere. So after the sphere-adventure I will make up my mind and deside between the two. Korgan is here to stay, even if the rest of my party is GOOD. He's BETTER. I must say that I'm pretty bored already with being the good guy. I'm already anxious to play EVIL next time and I'm just starting Chapter 3. Oh well, seeing my Monk getting stronger is great too.

If you want to enter the sphere you should just kill Valgar and use his body as the key to get in. He does not have to be alive....I agree with your choice of Korgan btw. I kept him for his comments alone......put him and Edwin together and they have some amusing conversations about killing everyone in the party and taking all the stuff.....very funny......
