What do the skills do the prestige classes get?
What do the skills do the prestige classes get?
Anyone know which skill's you get per PRESTIGE CLASS? I know that as a watchman/consular you get all skills minus demolition. Do any of you know exactly what skill you get for each prestige class? and how many skill points your supposed to get each level w/o inteligence bonus?

*spoilers*
erm i know that when your a sith assassin/jedi watchman you get the sneak attack feat which does more damage when you hit them while invisible.your other power as assassin/watchman is force camoflage as you can turn invisible without a stealth field generator(sweet,eh).its cool how you can use force camoflage and sneak attack together as it can wipe out an enemy in like 3 or 4 hits
I know as a sith marauder/jedi weapons master you get the powers rage(or sometin like dat) and some feat which lets you shrug off like 15% damage from attacks.Rage is like the feat the wookie has it increases your damage and your health(better,eh).
I know as a sith lord/jedi master, well i dont knwo much about these but sith lord gets a power which corrupts enemys and jedi master can influence allies
sorry thats all i know about those classes

Sith Assassins and Jedi Watchmen get nearly the same things.
1) Sneak Attack (a damage bonus when the target is stunned, hitting someone else or you are stealthed)
2) Force Camoflage, which gives you the ability to Stealth without having a Stealth Field generator (so can wear a useful belt) and also at higher levels gives a bonus to your Stealth skill
Weapon Masters get
1) Inner Strength ( damage taken reduced by 5, 10 or 15 per cent depending on level)
2) Increase Melee damage (+2,+4or+6 to damage given unarmed or with melee weapons)
Sith Marauders get almost the same thing as Weapon masters except they get
1) Ignore Pain, whjich is the same thing as Inner Strength
2)Increase Combat damage, which gives the same bonuses as Increase Melee Damage, but with ANY weapon)
3) They get the power Fury, which adds to STR, Fortitude and wil saves, Vitality points, immunity to paralysis ans stasis, and added damage if you've already killed while using it. The downside is a reduction in DEF. Higher levels should grant extra attacks, but I'm told it's bugged.
4) They can take optional feats further increasing their Lightsaber proficiency and reducing two-handed penalties
Jedi masters get:
1) Light Side Enlightenment. This increases the effect of INF on the alignment of your companions.
2) Inspire Followers, a buffing power for your party members, adding bonuses to attack, damage and Will saves
Sith Lords get
1) Dark Side Corruption, which is exactly the same thing as LS Enlightenment
2) Crush Opposition, an anti-buffing power for your enemies, reducing their hit rolls and will saves.
Finally, all prestige classes get DEF bonuses. Assassins, wtachmen, weapon masters and maurauders get +2 DEF every fifth level; masters and lords get +2 DEF every 8 levels

I meant skills, you know demo, stealth, persuasion, computer. I want to know what skills you get per prestige class. And how many skill points do you get per level in the prestige classes. Because I ran into a glitch which I did not notice on my previous games wherein you level and don't get your intelligence bonus or you level and get skill points equal ONLY to your intelligence bonus. So next time I level I know I'm getting the right amount of skill points. I don't think you keep the same skill progression if you were a sentinel who went weaponmaster or marauder.
But thanx for that other stuff it was quite informative.

I believe it's exactly the same as for the equivalent non-prestige classes. I think that is 1+[your INT modifier] per level, except that Sentinels and prestige equivalents get 2+[your INT modifier].
Are you asking about which skills are class or cross-class? Again, I belive it's the same as the equivalent non-prestige class, but if you choose a 'different' prestige class from your original you keep the class skills you had, AND get the ones relevent to that class.
So sentinels and watchmen/assasin, guardian/weap. master/marauder, consular/master/lord same skills? No bonuses for sticking to your class? i.e. sentinel chooses watchman prestige class? Cuz i can't see any.
As far as I can see, no. In fact, there are bonuses for changing, because you get different class skills. I have also been told that if you change class you get the LS/DS Mastery bonuses for both classes, even though only one appears in writing on your stats screen. I have never verified this...does anyone know more.
BTW, I am one of those who wishes the manual was more informative.
Oh yes... There are some very detailed sets of info on a well known rival site to this, however....(it probably wouldnt be polite to actually recommend it)
