Can some one please help with an Anomen quest?

Post by Hejmen »

I had already got Anomen into the Order before I went into the Underdark then when I came out some one came and said it was time for the test for him to become a full knight or something like that. So I went to the Order and no one said anything about any test. I couldn't find anyone to give him a test or anything but some knight did give me a quest to found out about some fallen knights or other and I was wondering if I have to do it for Anomen to be judge. If it effects the answer to this, I am doing the romance with Anomen.

The Test - spoiler?

I think I did the Fallen Paladins quest before Anomen had his test - I also think I did his family quest as well - I think the family quest is crucial to his success - he needs to uphold the law to pass and unless he makes the choices that involve looking at the case and discussing it with the authorities, he can fail - if he takes unlawful revenge he definitely fails.

the irony is that my party had killed his family's enemies already, as they got narked at them being in their house. however, the Sarky's already being dead doesn't prevent the quest starting either. Anomen wasn't with us when we were being naughty.

Yep

Yep, I already did all that. I already did the sister quest (didn't kill the guy) and Anomen got into the order and then when he went after his father after his father died again I got him to do the right then and then I went into the Underdark and when I came out some knight came and said he had another test to do and when I went to the order to have him take it no one said anything about it and I can't find anyone to give him the test.

please Sir

does it say Sir Anomen in his name? that is what mine does - the test was simply to turn up at the Order and present himself for judgment in the middle of the room behind the chap that gives out quests - I think I needed to talk to them before something triggered.

I had Keldorn helping the party out doing Watchers Keep - and he got on well with Anomen and was impressed with him - it may be that Anomen needs to spend time in the party with Keldorn so that Keldorn acts as character reference.

with my getting Anomen to Knight, I had already eliminated his enemies without him knowing, did the fallen paladins with him in the party, visited his father, spoke to the magistrate in the government hall about the 'murder', did Watchers Keep with both him and Keldorn and chatted to the Knights. I don't know if some particular dialogue options in solving the father issue are mandatory for success, but I played him very straight and law-abiding. the rep of my part is 20 and has been throughout his time in it.

Yes

Yes he is called Sir Anomen. He already passed the test that comes after his sister is killed but now a messanger came up to him and said that he had another test to take and so I took him to the Order again and I talked to everyone and no one seems to have anything to say to him about any tests. Also when I looked on the internet I got find no refernce to any second test.

Perhaps a bug...

Hmmm, I'm starting to think it's a bug in my game. I did load and they still told me he needed to be judged but is says in my quest logged he needed to be judged weither or not he came become a full knight of the order and I flicked back to my done quests to the part where it said he had passed the trail (after his sister was killed) and it said he had been madea full knight of the order so I am think this may just be a bug in my game....

Just move on if he's already Sir Anomen. Go kill Bodhi or something.

Oh yeah, it is a bug.

agreed - Sir is quite enough

once he is Sir Anomen there don't seem to be any scripted quests for him.

just be satisfied you have beknighted him.

his undead summoning gets really good later on - I've got him with 5 skeleton warriors doing his bidding - and those guys can be VERY helpful - especially if the enemy keeps trying to kill them the wrong way...
