Just for giggles today I created a party of nothing but Dwarves, Gnomes, and Halflings.
Dwarf fighter specialised with crossbow
Dwarf fighter-cleric
Halfling thief
Halfling Berserker (named Bubba)
Gnome Illusionist
Gnome fighter-illusionist (protagonist named...Mytzylplyk)
They weren't all that bad... I was mildly impressed. I have a bit more respect for illusionists now.

Hmmm...
I wonder...why is the berserker named Bubba?
Also...does it happen to dual-wield...DAGGERS?!?!?!?!
I personally never had much respect for the wee-folk, besides the fact that some of them make for wierd character choices. Also, I seem to find that besides cheesy half-orc uber-fighters, gnomes make the best wizard slayers.

Bubba because I had in mind a chubby, ill tempered, unwashed, redneck hobbit:laugh: .
He is specialised with and dual-wields club and dagger...:speech:

...I would have liked to had him dual in club and rock

but rocks apparently aren't considered weapons in the BG series

.
Who else uses diminutive protagonists?

I've always been a fan of dwarves, particularly dwarven clerics: they tend to kick tail.

My favourite race is halflings, it helps that I especially like to play as halfling bounty hunters.

I tend to use a Dwarven Cleric in BG I, but the only good class in SOA is a Sorceror. Can you have a Dwarf Sorceror?

Especially when you can give your halfing fighters grand mastery with their +1 daggers!
