The game freezes out of nowwhere!!!

When im running to a location and i stop to fight some monsters the game freezes on me and i cant get out of it. I cant do ctrl-alt-del or the windows key so i have to shut it down manualy and it gets anoying a lot of the times. This has been hapining since i got the game and im just wondering if there's a way to fix it or not. I just got the new update and that didnt help so idk what to do!!! please help!!! :confused: it can happen anywhere in the map it suxs

Have you tried adjusting your graphics settings, or anything like that?

how do you do that??? i cant find it on mine!!!
when i try and change the screen resolution idk but i always have had it at 800 x 600 is that what im supposed to or what

It sounds an awful lot like something is overheating. DL is pretty CPU intensive, a CPU temperature monitor might be a good idea. When you start up the game, before you select a play mode, there is an Options button to scale back the graphics so your CPU isn't working so hard.

how low do i have to go cause i have it 800 x 600 am i supposed to turn shadows off and everything like that way down!! cause that will just suck!!
i have a dell flatscreen idk if thats any help
