Greenstone Amulets?

Post by Cooldude4467 »

I heard about those awesome greenstone amulets that u can get from the moridenkins sword. I got a bunch and the give a lot of protections, but they cost a charge to use. But when I equipped it the mind shield picture apeared on my characters portrait, and also in his stats thing. I was wondering if this actually giving me the protection or do I have to activate it? Also, in the item abillity thing on the main screen it doesn't say how many charges it has. Thx for any help.

The one you get from the sword will give you protection as soon as you put it on. So you can just equip it and don't have to worry about the protection wearing out, just don't activate it.

They are good, because they protect your character from mind attacks: you can't be charmed, dominated and other things, I'm not really sure about all of the protection.

I think the Mordenkainens infinite effect greenstone amulet was removed in TOB. I thinks the swords amulet was a bug initially. Even if it wasnt a bug, the amulet was too powerful.

It is a bug. It is some sort of "flag" item used by the developers to give various immunities to creatures. It was never meant to be dropped as loot. Baldurdash has the fix, as ever.
