Level up bug?

I am playing through SoA with a solo sorceror, and I've come across a strange bug I've never had before. Ever since I've gotten to around level 14, I click the level up button on the records screen, and the screen where you assign weapon proficiencies comes up like normal, but it says either -1 or -2 for the points I can assign, and it won't let me click anything or move on to spell selection.

It's happened twice now: once for lvl 15 and once for lvl 16. For lvl 15, I just reloaded to before I had enough exp to lvl, then did whatever quest I had done again to lvl up, and it worked fine. For 16, I don't have any saves before my lvl, so I'm essentially stuck.

Any advice?

I have the latest patch and I'm using WeiDU's ease of use patch, dungeon be gone, and a quest addition pack.

Try using Shadowkeeper to reduce the number of proficiency points your character has.
