Glenroy and Renaults akaviri swords

Post by megadevil »

well as I was replaying the game and i searched renaults body just as you exit your cell i found an akaviri sword which does 2 damage. This was not unusual as ive found it before but then Glenroy who dies at the same time as the emperor also occasionaly has an akaviri sword on his corpse which does 3 damage. I wanted to keep these as collectibles but when you talk to baurus about the amulet he says thank you for recovering my comrades swords and he says something about them being kept in a honorary place and takes them off you. If this has happened to any1 else can you plz tell me what happens to them. does it change anything and can they be found anywhere in the game on dislay or even at the blade ruler temple.

glenroy and renault always drop their swords, but they cannot always be found on the corpses. i usually use a torch to search the floor. keep looking, they're there alright.
I dont think you ever see the swords on display, though i havnt really gotten too far into the game yet.
You can i think keep them. Just drop them on the floor before talking to Baurus then pick them up again after.

I tried the same thing as uffda, I dropped them in an out of the way corner and they disappeared after I talked to Barius. I think the game removes them from where ever they are when you talk to Barius.
Don't get me angry, I'm running out of places to hide the bodies

I've tried as well, and nothing works. It's the games way of stopping you having an unfair advantage. Forget the Akaviri blades. If you do the Thoronir Quest in the Market District of Imperial City, you will get an enchanted blade which is much more useful - though you will have to recharge it from time to time.
