Your Favourite Custom (modded) race

Post by dragon wench »

I have quite a few custom races loaded onto Morrowind:

*Arimer
*Ayeleid
*Meadow Fae
*Galith
*Drow (from Drow City Denizens)
*X-jiit
*Elementals

Of these, my favourite are probably the Ayeleid, and Meadow Fae. They look good and they tend to be magic and stealth oriented races, which is the type of class I generally play.

Anyone else?

I definitely agree on the Ayleid and the Meadow Fae, although I prefer to buy Meadow Fae wings for other races, instead of having them permanently attached, so my character can wear them when they feel like being extra pretty :D

In addition, I like the Kalimer race, which are also good for stealth/magic oriented players.

Very good idea regarding the wings! :D I hadn't even thought of that... :o And sometimes I avoid playing with the races that have permanent wings or tails because they clash a bit with some of the clothing mods

*looks up Kalimer*

I'm a great big fan of the Meadow Fae race. They're absolutely not uber. On the contrary, they're so delicate the last thing you want to do is burst into a room and start busting Dremora heads. You're forced to sneak around and use your magical abilities to get out of most confrontations. I love their appearance and how it reflects their character and abilities.

Another favorite of mine is the Ungen race. They're also not suited for fighting and things get more complicated because they don't excel in magic either. People always assume they're thieves - and they're right, because that's the only viable option for this race. I like that.

I like to use well rounded characters, so I use the Melnibone race. They're sort of a cross between a Redguard and A Nord.

I don't use race mods, because anything that breaks lore makkes me twitch.

But, the best looking that Ive saw has to be the Chiitajiit and Chiitamer.

I agree with chu. I haven't even bothered looking at them.
