I cant get to Aran Linvail!

i chose the side of bodhi instead of getting help from the shadow thieves, so now i have 2 kill Linvail. i killed haz and got the key but the door wont open!

is this some knid of bug or something? or am i doing something wrong?

It's not a bug. There's one other thing you need to do before the door will open.

i did get the key!
but the door wont open! is there some other key that im supposed to get?
