In the beginning of the game, in your cell a Dark Elf says something to you. It is different for each race. Post what he said to you.

Dunmer female

Something about how cute I am and that the guard owes him a favour. Offers to have me transfered over to his cell for some fun before I die. As thats what happens in here. They tell you otherwise but they all die in here.

My character was a Breton and he mocked me with something along the lines of "Where's your magic now, Breton?" I can't really remember anything other than that.

I was just started a new Breton character. He asked "Where's your Magicka now?" and continued to say that it was nothing but cheap parlor tricks. He ranted on like this until the guards came.

I'm a Breton.

"Pale skin, snotty expression, you must be a Breton! Masters of Magicka, hm? Nothing but cheap parlor tricks. If you're so good, let's see you make the bars of your cell disappear! You can't, can you? Your magicka can't help you now, and you're going to die in here. You hear me, Breton? You're going to die. Oh, I hear the guards. They're coming for you!"

(The pale skin part struck me as funny because my character is bronze-skinned. )

Just make a new guy for each race and see for yourself

He says the same thing to males and females of the same race, except the Dunmer.

I started a new game with a dark elf male char. The guy taunts my char by saying that my wife back in Vardenfell must really miss me and be very worried and lonely. Then he goes on to tell me that I'm never getting out of this prison and that he is going to look up my wife and "comfort" her once he's released.
