A Fourth Race Of Elves? (not sure if this is considered a spoiler)

Post by amora_pwns »

I was browsing through piles of random books in Joshaba's Rare Books after rescuing Huleeya for an early Blades quest, and I came across a book called "The Wild Elves." Their proper name is the Ayleids, and i was wondering if there were any in Morrowind? The book described the Ayleids as Morrowind's "enigma" and that there were very few records of the Wild Elves, and the ones that did exist were brief and undetailed.

Are there any in Morrowind?

Do Venus Fly Traps have brains?
Sorry that was random. But I've been wondering for awhile now.

Mostly just wondering about the Elves, though.

Thanks,
Amora

There are no Ayeleid in the vanilla game at all. However, there is a nice race mod you can download that allows you to play as one.

The Ayelid's ruins show up on Cyrodil, in Oblivion. Nice split levels, but a little stark for my tastes.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

There are also Maormar (sp?), tropical, chameleon skinned Elves.

No. It's a reflex when they shut.

OT - there are no Ayelids in the vanilla game. Neither are there Falmer (snow elves).

Basically, the Ayleids are supposed to be one of the founding races of Tamriel. They are the ancestors from which all the elves we know (Altmer, Dunmer, Bosmer) descended.
I know everything about Morrowind.

Everything.
