What Have I Done Wrong? $5.00 Reward!

Post by IronSide »

I have enjoyed DL and had no problems with it up until the point I am now at. I went to Arindale and after completing the king's test and going to Ulm to retrieve the armor, I showed the horn to Emmindor. Emmindor gave me the ring to Talendor and instructed me to take the horn there to the circle of spirits. I made the journey to Talendor and dropped off the horn, the wizard came forth from the horn and talked to me. I went back to Emmindor and went up the lift to the top of his tower. He then asked if I had the horn, then he asked to inspect it. He doesn't give me the option of telling him I put it in the circle of Talendor where he told me to. So now I can't go down the lift or tell him I've accomplished the quest. This disturbs me deeply and I'm offering a $5.00 reward via paypal to the person who can instruct me on how complete this quest and continue playing the game.

I went to Talendor only after I had already talked to Emmindor so I did not prematurely place the horn in the circle of spirits.

Did you just drop the horn in the circle, or did you place it on one of the surrounding hands like you're supposed to?

I placed the horn on one of the hands (prompting the 'cut scene').

Hmmm...

Hello.

That problem never occured before when I played but I heard different people say (I believe one of them was George K) that if you skip all the dialogue (by clicking continue), yes I admit the npcs sometimes really stretch it out, the game won't count that as a fully completed conversation. that's what I've heard. Also about that multiplayer thing someone als exprienced just the same problem, I forgot his name but it did occur before to someone als, search this forum and you'll find a thread about it.

P.S.: I think the main idea of this forum is to help other people for free...

Prior to CE, you had to actually listen to all dialogues. In 1.5/CE you can just click all Continue options.

re

once youve placed it on the stand where you put the horn on later on in the game it stays there. so if you havent saved it any time before that you will have some fun doing the game over again.

there is something that lets you have w/e you want using something sry i forgot how you do that but sry your screwed unless youve saved the game
