easter egg at beginning of fable

Post by Hearth »

i have fable:tlc so i don't know if it works on any other versions...

when you finish your will training and the guild master asks you if you want to play in woods or continue ur training say play...then you can go do little quests such as talking to a lady who needs you to collect 4 cooking apples...

my favourite part of this is you go to maze's tower and a cutscene starts, it shows maze and scythe having an argument.

Out of curiosity, how is it an easter egg if you are asked directly if you want to do A or B and you select B? That doesn't seem like an easter egg to me, just part of the main game.

Is it really an easter egg?

If you mean the cutscene between Maze and Scythe in Maze's study, how is it an easter egg? As what Darzog said, that part doesn't look like an easter egg to me. Looks like a part of the story if you ask me.

ok, maybe u guys are right...I just thought i'd point it out cause i didn't find it until 3rd time playing the game....

Isn't really part of story though because it's an optional cutscene, which is why i called it an easter egg...

All of you with TLC are stupid. Those of you without, it's not your fault. LISTEN to what they say. Scythe is talking about going to the NORTHERN WASTELANDS to discover something. This Cutscene is OPTIONAL and has NO SIGNIFICANCE, other than a hint to newbies of later quests. THAT IS ALL!

YO demented dude...
Listen up it doenst show at the normal fable becouse u wont get at the waste lands... it is optional i know but it is a piece of the story dude
Watch carefully
becouse when u go the the wastelands scyte will B there
And this also points to Maze talking about what Battles we might face ( His Betreyal with J.O.B ) Wich also happens in the normal fable...( but isnt spoke of )
It is an extra Piece added to the story

And dont call me stupid...

Demented Glory, please do not call people stupid. Its not a very nice thing. Same goes for typing with capital letters.

And about cutscene with Maze at Maze's tower at the beginning of the game, that's not an easter egg. Its part of the story for Fable: TLC as what Matthew said.
''They say truth is the first casualty of war. But who defines what's true? Truth is just a matter of perspective. An easter egg is something which is hidden and requiers some actions to uncover. This is an apparent part of the game, and thus it can't be classified an easter egg.

And DementedGlory. Watch your language, if you wish to stay at this board, then don't run around calling people stupid.

LOL, that's funny, calling people with a better game than the original stupid. I bet you have the original and not TLC, don't you? Save up your money, buy TLC, and then we'll talk. 'Till then, cut the curse words.

Anyways, the cutscene reveals the storyline after beating Jack. That's it, nothing secret. All it does is give hints. It's not in the original Fable.

BTW even fable reviews on Microsoft site says it to...

Maze's Old Friend
An intriguing story sequence is waiting to be found during your teenage years within the grueling confines of the Heroes Guild. This is an easy thing to miss on your first time through the original because of the temptation to simply finish up your training and advance straight into adulthood.

This time through, take some time to climb the tower in the Heroes Guild before advancing and be treated to a conversation between Maze and a mysterious undead-looking hero named Scythe. This little chat hints at some of the new stuff you'll find later in the game and is a great introduction to your enigmatic ally
