how to kill fire drake

im a knight and since it flys all the time so i cant hit it with my elven sword so all i can do is shoot at it with an elven shortbow which does like 4 at the most. does ne one have ne hits or tips for me. i would appreciate it thx.

use the bow

ive been in that situation a few times. Just find a good place where it gets stuck and your behind something where he cant see you but you can hit him. then its just a matter of knocking him down the 1500 hp he has (or near that) it takes time for sure but its worth the points you get.

Dont know what to tell ya there im a battlemage i think ive killed all of them i could find. i usually freeze them and go all out with physical attacks then freeze them again till their dead.

When they fly up hit them with shrieking stars or anything besides fire and theyll eventually try and fly down and land. Then freeze them and just hit them as much as you can. Also use the celstrial ward of fire or whatever.

Killing Fire Drakes

I'm Working On Becoming A Death Lord. I Have Killed Atleast A Hundred Of Them. The Best Way I Find To Kill Them Is To Use The Freeze Spell And They Drop Like A Rock , Then Run Up To Them And Attack Them Until They Start Breathing Fire, Turn And Run For Cover Just Far Enough The The Fire Can't Get You. Thier Breath Attack Acts Like A Combination Of The Fire Ball And The Flamethower Spells. I Also Kept Fire Resist Crystals And Greater Healin Potions Hot Keyed. You Will Get Burned, Use A Potion To Heal And Activate The Crystal And Charge Back In From An Angle Just As Thier Breath Is About To Stop. You Can Also Kill Them From A Distance With Spells , Arrows, Or Thrown Weapons While Dodgeing The Fire Balls( Usually 3 Sometimes 4). Was Well Worth The Exp (169000 Roughly) Per Fire Drake And I Needed To Aquire Atleast 60 Mill To Meet Requirements For Death Lord Quest.
To Increase The Apperance Of Drakes I Changed The Encounter Settings To More, One Slight Draw Back Is The You Will Have To Deal With Other Monsters As Well, But They Useually Keep Clear When Fire Drakes Are Near.
