Is it possible that there is a maximum AC ? My lvl 30 char has an AC of 85, and even if I switch a lower class cuirass with one with a higher AC, I cannot get better than 85!
Can somebody confirm this?
Yup, 85 is the maximum, doesn't matter if you're wearing light or heavy 85 is the max.
That does not mean you should not wear more. In combat the armour will degrade, so if your base is higher than 85, it will stay at 85 a little while longer while it degrades.
